DENVER - Of all the places around the world that offer classes in The willPower Method, president and founder Stacey Lei Krauss decided to put her one and only flagship studio-in Denver.
"Denver is a great hub. It's a beautiful place to live," said Krauss. "Typically here in Colorado, everybody works outside, have you focus on your feet and your alignment and we can take that concept and use it outside to help you be more efficient."
Only a few blocks from Coors Field, the willPower Fit Studio offers a new concept on achieving fitness. That concept begins with developing healthy foot movements.
"We've got hundreds of tendons and ligaments and muscles," Krauss said. "And the idea is if your feet are not strong, how can you be strong from the ground up?"
Krauss's studio offers several classes. She says people of all fitness levels can find their fit.
"We're training your enter kinetic chain. The goal is to help you use your body better, in everyday life."
Krauss, a former dancer, created the exercise method. Her company has trained thousands of instructors to teach in gyms and studios across the country.
The willPower Fit Studio on 21st and Market Street in Denver is celebrating its grand opening by offering free classes all day on March 2. Participants, however, do need to register.
