A spokesperson from DIA tells 9NEWS that at least 50 flights were canceled on Sunday that were headed to the East Coast.

Sunday night the airport said they are expecting 60 flights to be canceled on Monday.

DIA recommends that passengers contact their airline directly with questions and make sure to check on the status of their flight before arriving at the airport.
