When it came time though, it took Eliu ten hours over the course of two days to propose. He did so by taking more than 800 photographs.

"I wanted something creative and I wanted something unique," Hernandez said. "I wanted something that I hadn't seen before."

Hernandez created a stop motion animated video. Over the course of two days he took more than 800 photographs of his right hand holding crayons, money, coal, glass and a ring. He then edited all of the images together to create the animated video. The video ended with the question, "will you marry me? Please?"

Eliu then showed the video to Marissa.

"He asked me to take a seat and he wanted to show me something that he had been working on," Marissa said. "So I sat down and it took me a little while to figure out what was going on."

By the time the two minute and 25 second video ended Marissa knew what was going on, but it took longer than that for Eliu to get an answer.

"I couldn't answer him right away because I was just crying so hard," Marissa said.

In the end, Marissa's answer to Eliu was 'yes.' The two are still working to pick out a date for their wedding.

Eliu said the ten hours he spent creating his video proposal was worth every minute.

"Yes. Absolutely," Eliu said. "I got the girl."
