Jordan Ocana was hurt in a crash when a suspected drunk driver hit his mother's car early Saturday. Jordan was asleep in his car seat.

His mother had been hiding the family's Christmas presents in the trunk of her car. All of the presents were destroyed.

The family didn't think they were going to have much of a Christmas, but 9NEWS viewers from all over Colorado came to Jordan's hospital room giving gifts for his entire family.

"Seeing that little boy like that just broke my heart," said Steve Brown. He, his wife and their two daughters went shopping Sunday morning for Jordan's family.

Doctors originally thought Jordan's mouth would have to be wired shut for up to six weeks. They now say he might have the wires out within a week.
