"Well now is definitely the time to come up here. We've got some great lodging deals, 40 percent off, and we've got a couple fantastic events. We kick off with a cookie competition [Wednesday] afternoon followed by a holiday tree gliding this Friday and then our annual Birds of Prey World Cup next week," Brown said. "The downhill starts on Friday followed by the 'Super G' Saturday and the men's 'Giant Slalom' on Sunday."
Brown talked about how the thanksgiving holiday may affect the weekend festivities.
"With the major holiday weekend coming up, we definitely are seeing lots of folks out and about. The restaurants are full, the retail shops are busy, we are ready to go," Brown said.
