WASHINGTON (AP) - Colorado Avalanche goalie Peter Budaj isn't the only NHL player hit by the swine flu.
The Washington Capitals say forward Quintin Laing also has the illness, making him at least the third NHL player to be diagnosed with the swine flu this week.
Capitals spokesman Nate Ewell tells The Associated Press that Laing is being treated for H1N1 and is being kept away from the rest of the team.
He says no other members of the Capitals have shown symptoms.
Edmonton Oilers defenseman Ladislav Smid also has the swine flu and played about 20 minutes in last night's game against the Avalanche. Budaj didn't travel with the Avs.
