KUSA - Tickets to the fifth annual CHSAA "Championship Saturday", featuring the high school class 5A and 4A championship football games at INVESCO Field at Mile High, are now on sale, the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame announced in a statement released Wednesday.
Attendance was more than 13,000 for last year's event, with Mullen and Wheat Ridge taking home state titles.
"We are very optimistic that the quality of play and excitement of the Championship Saturday event will generate a new record as the event continues to grow in 2009," Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Chairman Bruce Dodge said in the statement.
Tickets are $9 for students age 18 and under and $12 for adults. All seating will be general admission for the two state title games. The 4A game is set for 11 a.m. on Dec. 5, with the 5A title game to follow at approximately 2:30 p.m.
All stadium parking will be free for both games.
