Frank today said he wants to read a new report commissioned by stadium skeptics - it's being released publicly this afternoon - before making any decisions.
Frank is slated to announce whether he thinks CSU should pursue building an on-campus football stadium in Fort Collins in advance of the Oct. 4-5 Board of Governors meeting.
"I'm theoretically on vacation (likely a failed one) this week, so I still think I should be able to get my announcement out not later than the beginning of next week - barring anything unforeseen," Frank told the Coloradoan via email this morning.
On-campus stadium critics have joined under the auspices of Save Our Stadium, Hughes and brought in several consultants to analyze CSU's stadium plans. SOSH members have publicly raised questions about CSU's project development process and believe financial projections for the proposed $246 million, 43,000-seat stadium are too optimistic.
