DENVER - Many fans were able to get to Coors Field to see the baseball game on Monday, but others were stuck at work.

Game 4 of the National League Division Series between the Colorado Rockies and Philadelphia Phillies was originally scheduled for Sunday. But weather delayed Game 3, pushing Game 4 to Monday afternoon.

That wasn't a problem for many fans.

"I walked in at 7 o'clock and said I'm leaving a half-day early. I'm going to the Rockies game," Louis Blackburn said.

He says his boss was OK with it.

"He was fine with that," Blackburn said.

"My boss said, 'Have a good time,'" Andrea Smith said.

Others were able to fall back on the Columbus Day holiday.

"No problem, the courts are closed today," Jamie Kaplan, an attorney, said.

Not all Rockies fans were so lucky.

Greg Calhoun works right across the street from Coors Field, and at game time, he was still in his office.

"I'm really busy today," Calhoun said.

That doesn't mean he won't follow what's going on inside the ballpark.

"To be quite honest with you, I'll put it on here and watch play-by-play on the Internet," Calhoun said pointing at his computer.

The fans who were going inside could only say one thing about the people who couldn't make it to the game.

"I feel very sorry for them," Laura Morgan said as she went inside. Morgan flew in from Oregon to see the game.
