TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) - The Denver Nuggets lost to the Indiana Pacers, 126-104, in Taiwan Thursday, the first NBA preseason game ever played there.
The Pacers led the game throughout in front of a sellout crowd.
Troy Murphy, Brandon Rush and Roy Hibbert scored 20 points and the Pacers led the game throughout.
Carmelo Anthony led the Nuggets with 17 points. J.R. Smith added 16 points and Chauncey Billips and Joey Graham each contributed 14.
Nuggets coach George Carl says the team isn't playing with a good rhythm and has to find some answers before their season opener on Oct. 28.
