DENVER - The Colorado Crush are trying to erase from their minds an embarrassing 35-point loss last week to one of the AFL's worst teams.

The Utah Blaze torched the Crush 71-36 in Salt Lake City giving them their worst loss of the season since a 70-35 thrashing in week three by Chicago.

The win was only the second of the year for the struggling Blaze.

With a 4-6 record the Crush know they are still very much alive in the playoff hunt.

More than likely a sub .500 team will make the playoffs this year but the Crush realize their play on the field must improve.

The Crush know they will need more than Listerine to get the bad taste from Saturday's defeat out of their mouth.

Saturday night, Colorado will host Cleveland and are looking for their second win against the Gladiators.
