KUSA - On August 17, more than 500 residents of Colorado with connections to the bleeding disorders community will join together at Sloan's Lake in Edgewater, CO to raise money and awareness for education, programs, and crucial research to find better treatments and cures for bleeding disorders.
The 2013 Colorado Walk for Hemophilia is one of a series of Hemophilia Walks taking place across the nation this year. More information about the Walk, including how to donate and
register, is available at www.hemophilia.org/walk.
Although hemophilia is extremely rare, it remains the most expensive chronic disorder to treat. Funding raised at this walk will also promote education and advocacy to help prevent complications for patients.
